The villa is built on three levels. Annual highlights include the Kalamata International Dance Festival, the Kalamata International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament, and the Kalamata Puppet Theatre Festival, the International Kalamata Music Days, the Kalamata Guitar Festival, and many more.
The area is great for hiking and cycling, with many very active clubs in the area. There are also numerous rock-climbing sites, a paragliding club, water sports, sailing and windsurfing, but also endless quiet and lovely beaches to explore.
